Thank you for making this live performance available online!

Just watched the show on NPR and it is fantastic tho I was a little surprised at how few new songs were played. Don’t know or care about all the drama, just love the music. Thank you NPR!

PS#2: Thanks to NPR.org for keeping the show up on their web site…watched the show this morning = very good show. It was nice to see Carla Azar drumming, but only for a very, very, very short while = very partial to seeing Daru Jones in Jack White’s solo band. Alright, no OJ in the band for this NPR.org show = great. Jack has redeemed himself with me for now = watching him like a hawk. Watch yourself Jack! : )

PS: I just figured out that this show will start after 11:30PM CST. That’s way past my bedtime at 9:00 PM. I hope the show will be on NPR.org for a while…unless of course OJ is in the band for this show too then I won’t bother watching any videos of it. I like the band the way it was = The Buzzards – 1 + 1 Peacock = satisfaction guaranteed for me. Ain’t going to follow another band with OJ in it. I remember her being rude to me several times in Nashville. Besides she’s not that good of a musician and she can’t sing.

Guillotine, Loved visiting Holland once…was stationed in Germany and took one of those military sponsored travel tours. Saw a lot of neat things in Holland like a windmill, a tulip farm but the most memorable place was the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam. I can still go back to that place in my mind and thank God every time realizing how good life can be compared to what happened there during WWII. I am subscribed to the Anne Frank Museum email newsletter…love how the story is still alive and spreading all these decades later. It’s pretty cool too that you can see and hear a Jack White concert in the morning there. We’ve come a long way world!

Guillotine

Never mind, finally found a good time converter website..
It’ll start at 06:00 o’clock in the morning in Holland.

Guillotine

Isn’t this supposed to start anytime soon?
I live in Holland so timing is a little off here (and maybe my calculations..!)
Anyone?

PS: Yes Lillie Mae is great but as far as Alison Mosshart, Olivia Jean Markel and Ruby Amanfu, I don’t want to buy any recorded music that they are on and helps support them. Since I am so picky, I guess I’ll have to go back to following songwriters in Nashville, which wasn’t too bad. There are 1,000’s of them so if you get tired of the ones you are following there are lots more to discover…just not as exciting as things going on at TMR. Only time will tell if I come out of this downward spiral about Jack.

athinkingcat, Oh I know that sounds silly. I turned 60 in March. My first rock concert at age 14 was seeing Jimi Hendrix. I’ve seen so many great bands (Jefferson Starship, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and on and on and on). I keep thinking why am following all of these young people that are closer to my kids ages when I see things they do that I don’t care for. I have an issue with Olivia Jean. I first saw her at the Halloween party at TMR called Devil’s Night in the Black Bells band in 2010. I have seen her other times in Nashville also and she was kind of rude to me. There’s an inside story there but I don’t want to violate policy and terms here so I won’t go into it. Bottom line: Jack has employed quite a few women that had tried to be his love interest while he was still a married man and that has always been a little disturbing to me when they are still hanging around and getting work with him. I’ll keep a watchful eye on Jack and see if he can be a good boy, not one of those ‘bad boys’ of rock & roll. I don’t want to be disappointed that way. I guess I was premature in saying I may have gotten too old for rock & roll. I just watched the band Jonathan Jackson and Enation on The View. I learned about the band last year and went to their first concert in Nashville last June. They are an amazing band to see “live” and after that I started watching the tv show Nashville. It’s pretty good. I am glad that the series was renewed for a 3rd season. Jonathon Jackson was Lucky on General Hospital and now he is Avery on Nashville. Jonathan’s brother Richard is the drummer in the band and their friend Daniel is the bass player. The 3 piece band has a powerful sound that I like a lot. They are good Christian men and I like that in the musician/singer/songwriters I follow. I had been thinking about talking to Jonathan about sharing his Christian/religious/spiritual beliefs with Jack. I really respect Jonathan for his life values and sometimes I get very disappointed in Jack’s but I really don’t want to. I think you can understand where I am coming from athinkingcat since you have shared some of your personal life here. Good men…that’s what we want all men to be but that ain’t the reality in life. God bless…thanks for the smack = woke me up! I appreciate that athinkingcat.

What the hell did you really just say that @CINCI “Too Old For Rock & Roll!”! (smack) Snap out of it! Oh and i don’t know what the issue is with the girls i mean i know we all Love Lilly Mae but someone has to shake the maracas people only have two hands! And what about that suit again never noticed the lace suit was lacey skulls well how about that! Fyi CINCI my 70 some year old neighbor gave me a funny look when i drove by her house with Power of My Love cranked(as i usually wait till i get out of my neighborhood before i really crank up the radio) and then she got a huge smile when she recognized the song. Never to old for Rock & Roll! NEVER!
