Great album! I bought the regular version since I wasn’t a vault member that quarter. Anyone have problems playing the song under the label? My record player arm won’t go that far in. I’m getting a new player does any one know which one will play under the label songs( I’m not planning on spending $1000 though) looking to spend 2 to 3 hundred!

@thecogitatingfeline, that sounds like a very Asian thing to do. Reminds me of Joseph Campbell talking of the main difference between eastern and western religions being that eastern religions don’t have a concept of sin, they don’t lay guilt on us for our mistakes, they accept that we can be imperfect and still be divine. @konchok3, I’ll dream that dream with you. Many of Jack’s most fascinating songs are b-sides, so I’ll take as many of them as I can get, whenever I can get them.

Kali i count on happy accidents! Mistakes can be a beautiful thing and if i remember correctly it is the Chinese that in art and things they make they put and imperfection in on purpose. like with my art it is never what i set out to do but in the end all the happy accidents are what make me happy with it and proud. maybe some spot i painted the wrong color or the India ink leaked out a little too much causing a blob that i was not planning on. but it is all how you approach those mistakes make them work and turn something some would consider bad in to something good. :)

The spelling/grammar nazi in me has trouble living with that. Though I have to admit, that part of me seems to be loosening up lately, perhaps realizing, as ROJA said, that the little mistakes are often a big part of what life’s about. Where would White Moon be without Meg’s inadvertently jingle bells near the end?

that we cannont edit our comments is what makes some of them so much fun to read through as i am sure some people would delete some of the stuff they have said. but here it is forever or as long as this site is up unless someone at third man deletes it.

Last I looked at the calender it told me that we’re currently in the midst of August. And the record’s been out for a full two months, hasn’t it? How many singles did we have for Blunderbuss within two months of its release? I can be patient waiting for Vault packages, but they’re a different animal. The lack of singles for this record is strange and mysterious and difficult for us addicts to bear without unrest.
