ARLABAR3

Five star video vignette! But what happens to these hapless prisoners?! What Train of thought-provoking Terrors will befall?? ;) Yet calm as a cup of tea, our dapper hero is resolute-3 handed he writes in a 3 legged suit. Or is it illusion-but what does he type? Will our heroine survive? With her name up in lights? Impossible Winners?! Dead Weather right!

This really shows what The Dead Weather is (at least to me). A conceptual band, an aesthetic universe fired off by the music they make but comprehending much more. Great video.

Lights off, speaker up, tidal loaded…. Mind blown! This was fantastic! Loved it … Jim Rose Circus meets the x-files… Love the details! Off to watch again. Thanks DW.

Just watched again and am sitting here thinking back on all of the videos for Jack’s various bands and solo… I love Conquista, Level, both Cut Like A Buffalos, and Treat Me Like Your Mother. But I think it might be safe to say this is my favorite of all of the song videos he’s been involved with so far.

Just got home from work and was finally able to watch with sound and without multiple interruptions. Picked up on a lot of the quirky little details in the interrupted viewing earlier, but sitting and just listening and watching turned it into less about looking for details and more into wondering about the story unwinding on the screen. I’m gonna be honest, the song didn’t do anything for me when I heard it on the album. But, somehow, hearing it as the soundtrack to this narrative made me hear it differently. I think I may like it very much now. Or I may only like it when I watch this video, I dunno yet. But the video is brilliant, many kudos to Ms. Muller and Mr. McDowell and anyone else who contributed ideas to it. It’s like the Night Circus and American Horror Story and Freaks all rolled up into one. Very compelling, stimulating, and thought-… no, make that wonder-provoking. Thank you.
