i don’t think we should get tidal exclusive “stuff” here. Just ‘stuff’ relating to Third Man. I’m not interested in Tidal or the other artists. I was just a white stripes fan inspired by the music but not by the bullshit. Hey I’ m a lowly stonemason that thinks $80 per quarter is enough.
haha Tidal sucks and there is no changing that. You cannot justify that it is good. It will soon be out of business.
Or is Ian Burgess saying we should get Tidal exclusive stuff here in the Vault, and not have to subscribe to Tidal at all for that content? Either way, it’s been a funny/disturbing thing to watch what’s happened to the Vault over the years. It was subtle at first, but is pretty consistent now, people wanting more and more and more than was originally offered for $60 per quarter. It’s a subscription service, for crying out loud, not a rewards program. Do people understand the difference in this day and age?
Remember Jack White is only a part owner of Tidal, @Ian. I appreciate TMR offering us a choice to subscribe or not.. I was skeptical at first that I would make use of Tidal, but for 5$ a month, willing to try it. My conclusion being, it’s really worth the small increase! Such a variety and so much portable music, vids, and info. Not a “skilled techie enthusiast” here, by any means, but I find Tidal user-friendly with crystal clear audio.. There must be an award for a company who consistently acts on behalf of their “vaulted” customers’ be$t interests, it’s TMR.
@Ian unfortunately, $5 is the best deal we could broker for the $20/month service. Trust us, we went for the best deal they would offer, then cut it down!

Watched this video twice in a row. Once wasn’t enough. Makes me think the $5/month hi-if Tidal subscription for Vault members (net $45 quarter savings) makes the additional $15 spent on Vault goodies and this forum the best deal in the universe. I love TMR!
