SOOOOOO thrilled to have tickets for MSG in NYC!!! This will be my first time seeing Jack White live. I am praying to Saint Rita for a secret NYC show… Or at least an additional small venue show.

@Cathryn First off, thanks for your research! I’ve seen the setup you’re referring to many times. What I meant was a division, say 20-25 feet from the stage, splitting the front section in 2. I’ve seen that at other venues, but never MSG. Glad to know that is not the case!

Cathryn

@Eschwejih I’ve been to several concerts at MSG where they divided up the floor as the front being GA standing like a pit and the back of the floor is reserved seating, usually on raked risers. The pit on the floor and the reserved seating on the floor was separated by a wall.

Cathryn

@Alexander Ulianov – no problem. I’m right here in NYC. Easy enough to track down. Relieved we all got great tickets. :)

Thanks, Cathryn, for the great detective work.

Typically, the MSG floor is divided into front and back, but in this case, it seems that the ‘back’ section is reserved seating. Never seen the front split up to create a pit up by the stage. Can only assume that is the situation at this point, though.

Just spoke to Crowd Surge. The GA tix are all the same. Some were mislabeled GA front but all GA tix are what MSG calls GA West. They are all GA pit tickets same area.

I would assume that Front is more front than west, but who knows??? Has anyone been able to get any clarity on this?

See you in Nashville guys!

Just snagged general admission FRONT tickets! Saw Jack at Merriweather Post Pavilion in September. Can’t wait to see him again at MSG!
