Well fans and friends of the Vault, as we all likely know by now tonight is Jack White’s final show for some time and it’s all being streamed live via Tidal. But did you all think we would forget about you, our loyal Vault members? Of course not.
In fact this epic and soon to be historical acoustic show will also be streamed right here in the Vault for Gold and Platinum members. So all paying members, make sure you tune in right here this evening at 8:30pm CT! The stream will appear as a post here on the Vault site viewable to only paying members who are logged in, same as all the news posts do. Just keep your eyes peeled close to the time. The show will also be archived in the Vault and Tidal as well for any members who miss it when it goes out live.
Furthermore, we are very excited indeed to let you all know that we are currently working closely with Tidal to develop an opt-in system at the rate of only $5 a month for the Hi Fi service of Tidal, only for Platinum Vault members. This is still in development, but will launch by the end of this month. Essentially, if you are a Platinum member you will have the option to subscribe to the top tier Hi Fi service of Tidal at a huge discount, a saving of 75% a month. We’ll be announcing full details on this great offer next week, but this seemed a very ideal time to inform you all that this offer is imminent and will be offered for all current and new members as long as the Vault exists (which as we all know, is forever). But in the meantime we do hope you'll take advantage of the live stream this evening either in the Vault or on Tidal. We're so glad we can provide this service!
Lastly and perhaps most importantly, we ask that you all keep all of this news and stream within the Vault only for the Vault community and respect the exclusivity and specialness of this perk. @Carnevil: When you really looking for digital sound in awesome Hi Fi quality you can through your mp3’s away. The digital information is just not enough. You need something like the material you’ve got on your cd’s, called wav. files which have up to 10 x more mb’s/digital audio data. Then the magic comes with the player. I’m really curious how Tidal worked that out. If you want digging deeper in the digital Hi Fi ground I can recommend you some websites with a lot brilliant technical info about it all: mother-of-tone.com and tera-player.com – cheers

Why hasn’t every other music platform put out music that’s Hi Fi?
There should be a way for iTunes to transfer their mp3s to Hi Fi. I mean, I am opting in for Hi Fi service of Tidal, but what do I do with all my mp3s that’s taking up space on my iMac and external hard drives????

Yeah, I’m logging on everyday looking for it as well. I wasn’t able to watch it the night of the performance so I’m looking forward to seeing it. Most people said it was an amazing show.
I’m also checking in for news on the $5 opt-in with Tidal. It says above that it’ll launch by the end of this month and it is the 28th now, so I’m guessing we will see it any day now. Definitely looking forward to that as well.
