Haha, yes, drinking a Rock’n’Rye is on my Detroit itinerary, right after eating Polski food in Hammtramck and visiting the Guardian and Fisher buildings and the DIA. Thanks for the tip about where to find glass bottles, that’d make a good souvenir.
You can get some rock n rye in detroit when you are there most any party store carrys faygo but i would guess your best bet for a glass bottle will be meijer.
I’m actually in Maryland and I’ve yet to find Rock’n’Rye, even at my local pop shoppe that stocks over a hundred sodas ‘cause she can’t get Faygo in glass bottles. But, yeah, Cock’N’Bull is the best ginger brew I’ve found yet, it’s got a helluva kick. As for a meetup post-show, I’m also driving to Detroit the next morning but would certainly be up for a short post-show get-together. If you ever go to White Swirl, a P’burgh local posted a great list of places in the thread about this show.
Will we all have a meet up inside at the bar after or is there another bar closer where we can all get an adult beverage? Can’t go too crazy as i have to zip to Detroit the morning after.
