BLACKWELL'S RECORD OF THE WEEK + GIVEAWAY!

Olivia Jean

Raving Ghost

Oh man, a record release day coupled with tour kick off in the Blue Room is always a special moment in the TMR world. And for it to be with near-and-dear to our hearts family member Olivia Jean? Well that makes it all the more of a celebration.
And OJ's third full-length record at Third Man is her biggest and best yet. I lobbied REALLY hard for the album to open with the song "Spider" (my fave here) and even though I got voted down, I can certify that this album cooks.
So in honor of the big day, I'm giving away a copy of Olivia's "Raving Ghost" album to a user picked from the comments on this thread. Maybe I'll be discerning, maybe it will be random. So no harm in posting multiple times, of being funny, of finding some sort of response thematically tied to the ideas of "raving" or "ghost." Have fun with it. Or don't. I'm not a cop.
Comments need to be posted here no later than Thursday May 11th to be considered for inclusion. Thems the rules.
Rock and roll!

“…I was RAVING with a GHOST, and I said PLEASE, please don’t insist…”

Honestly, I’d melt at Jack and Olivia recording or performing that song. Altered lyrics or not, it’d be an amazing collab

I’ve been listening to this great new album on the TIDAL music app. I bet it sounds great on vinyl. I love Olivia Jean!

Got my tickets for Olivia Jean – June 10th @ Mississippi Studios! Can’t wait! If I don’t win the vinyl, I hope she brings some with her for me to buy.

When I first put this on I was transported to another space and time. It was a relaxing space of somewhere in the past with a raw energy missing from a lot of today’s music. I love it!!
