Jack White
No Name
scum stats: wouldn't you like to know?
I can't say it any better than the countless number of fans already have, so let's get to the juicy part.
I'm giving away a copy of the rubber-stamped "No Name" at random to a comment posted here before midnight central time, August 8th.
Maybe your comment has something to do with names, or no names, or maybe it's just smart or funny or clever. Don't make me have to spell it out, jeez. I mean, if it's truly the best comment ever, maybe I dig out a test pressing of "No Name" for the winner. No pressure.
My name was always dead… I was just afraid to tell you #ThirdManAltVault #TransRights
Had I only known they were giving them away at Third Man – Cass Corridor.
Sigh …
What type of SHEESH would pair well with this WHINE???
(PS … it sounds great!!!)
It has been 6472 days since Jack performed in philadelphia. Come back to us Jack. Even if you come back with No Name.
The irony that my new year’s resolution was to win an unnamed album engineered in part by non-skibidi geniuses Shibby and Skibbe.
1999: When I hear my name I want to disappear
2024: I’m getting used to hearing my name, it’s no longer making me feel sick
I had an idea for a Vault package with this No Name album and instead of sharing it on r/JackWhite I think I’ll do it here. I know vinyl is your trade and everything but has there been a Vault 8-track yet? Because as soon as I heard this album , I had it looped to repeat and it reminded me of 8-tracks from way back yonder (at one point I had “London Calling” on 8-track).
I’m gonna find an 8-track recorder on eBay (or the Goodwill) and make my own, but one for Vault members would be really cool IMO.
What’s the rumpus? Possible test pressing of “No Name”? I don’t think I have made a comment in my life that would be worthy of that prize… Good luck to everyone else out there!!!
No Name, An Omen
On Mean, No Amen
Am None, A Non Me
One Man, No Name
As soon as I heard those first notes of “Old Scratch Blues,” I could hear JWIII saying “Bless Yourself” with this new music I’ve created. Yep. “That’s How I’m Feeling” every time I listen to this amazing album. While it’s been bliss for me, apparently “It’s Rough on Rats (If You’re Asking),” according to the benevolent “Archbishop Harold Holmes.” When the good bishop declared, “One Day! One Way! Can’t Miss!” to find these glorious records in Nashville, Detroit, or London, I started “Bombing Out” realizing I was nowhere near these cities. “What’s the Rumpus?” my family asked as I sulked on missing out, lamenting that “Tonight (Was A Long Time Ago)” for the chance to get one. Could they be found “Underground?” On the year, this record was now my “Number One With A Bullet” and I couldn’t stop listening to it. It was always on, “Morning At Midnight” and once it was officially released to the world, I was a “Missionary” making the trek to Hollywood to secure my beautiful blue copy. I thought I knew it all, but each time I reach “Terminal Archenemy Endling,” I can’t wait to listen again and again to make me feel 10 feet tall!!!
No shirt, No name.. No nonsense.
