FREE RECORD GIVEAWAY!
Slow Walker
“Ah Yes”
scum stats: limited to 100 hand-numbered copies
Served up fresh from Milwaukee mainstay Chris Schulist, three copies landed here at Third Man. Chris ain’t even involved in the release at all, just truly believes in sharing the power of rock and roll.
And it is powerful indeed. Mudhoney with slightly stoner vibes, lyrics only when absolutely necessary, not afraid to explore upon an extended instrumental section. You should dig this too. Much respect for going through the entire rigamarole of putting out an LP and capping it at 100 copies. That’s a ballsy move here but it works.
Swank grabbed one and I’m giving away the third copy here based on comments. Relay your best story that somehow incorporates the phrase “Ah yes.”
Winner chosen by me, so make it snappy.

I know but I forgot the liquor store closes at 6 on Sunday and you left me home with the kids, sorry.
boss: hey you fucked up this project
me: ah, yes.
The doctor to the patient: ‘You are a very sick slow walker’
The patient to the doctor: ’Can I get a second opinion?’
The doctor again: ‘“Ah Yes”, you are very ugly too…’
Ah yes, rock n’ roll will never die!
Will you send a copy to me? “Ah yes” you will!!
Ah yes, one for my dog. She needs to groove a lot.
Ben, I listened to the first three songs and was floored. I already ordered a copy. Thanks for the heads up.
Ah, yes. A free record. It would be great to receive one but I don’t deserve it. Why? Because I won early entry to one of Jack’s shows this week. So you see, that trumps a free record. However, Ben, if you don’t think it’s gluttonous I sure would like a free record too!
“Ah yes” what’s the point?
“Ah Yes” another contest I won’t win…………
