They are just waiting for us ALL to move to Nashville. Aren’t you looking for a job there? ;-) In this house, my wife is VERY against us moving to a new city just to be close to my favorite record (and so much more) store.

As a Platinum member I would give anything for one of these, But like most people , we don’t have the money to travel , especially on a whim. Is there any other way to get tjhos beautiful “sick” record ? It’s really hard to drop everything, especially work, to get there. I loved the Loretta Lynn Set and I didn’t think anything could top it. Maybe this could be the next item on the vault list. I am certain I am not the only member that would love to have this.
Thanks for all you do and Happy 4th !

When we joined the Vault, I don’t remember being told special variant items such as tricolors would be made available. I remember signing up for a specific number of things: a Vault package once every three months, access to Vault novelties, pre-sales, live streaming and chat. Personally, the Vault package alone was worth the $60/quarter. Everything else was gravy.

I sympathize with those in other countries who feel they have no shot at a tri, but you need to realize most of those in the US live too far away to have a realistic shot at it either. Heck, I live 3 hours away and I had to go to TMR the day before RSD and camp out just to get my first one. But the main point is this: access to trim-colors was never promised to any of us when we joined. We joined because we love the music and we saw value in what WAS promised to us. Expecting anything else is unreasonable.

@Melinda Taylor Great point. In fact black vinyl sounds the best as well :-)

Dan_Halen

@Kali Durga I agree. I hear that the tri-colors taste terrible anyways!

Melinda

I am a bigger fan of content than color. Nice schtick to drive the collectors mad but all I want is more good tunes please!

@athinkingcat. It does get old to scroll through the considerable sob stories…Just that they exist is impressive to me.

Richard

I’d still love the vault albums if they were on black vinyl.

I RARELY pay more than $10 maybe $15 for a 7" and don’t own any tri-colors yet. I’m not gonna make a special trip to TN to get one either. I’d rather wait for a random one to be sent to me when ordering from TMR. It hasn’t happened yet but if it ever does just imagine how much cooler it would be to get one this way. I think color vinyls are really cool, but they’d be so much better if they weren’t done SOOOOO often. They aren’t quite as special anymore. Color doesn’t matter quite as much to me anymore.
