Because Benjamin Booker is bad to the bone, and if you haven't fallen in love with him yet (either through his tour dates with our patron saint Jack White, or through his Letterman performance, or through all the NPR love he's been getting, or just because you have damn good taste), you're about to. Booker and his band hail from New Orleans, and while we could try to sum up their style into a tidy multi-hyphenated genre, we think it's high time we all cut it out with that nonsense, and frankly, you don't need the hand holding. Booker coming to Kansas city this week at the Record bar Wed. night 10/1. Can’t wait to see him again (STL Jack Show). Any chance seling copies of the live show on TMR? I know they did preorders for those at the show…how about those that couldn’t make it???? Would love to purchase some vinyl.

Third man you are like the old animated footsie roll commercial calling me to action to move to Nashville. “Whatever it is I think I see it seems Nashville is calling me.” Even as I drive the freeways in places I see the three lines of yellow reflectors on the cement barriers in the Detroit area and. In my head I hear as I past each one "Third Man,Third Man,Third Man. Even most is in on the subliminal messaging.
