my daydream

@athinkingcat I will be at the temple show..would be cool to get a drink or meet up and say hey. I have 9, 6, &3 yr old children boy, boy, girl. My hubby is staying with them and I am going with a friend and then he and his brother are going in Cleveland. Hard to leave his job for the D in summer season as he runs the COOP deli and it gets crazy in July. The state theater would be a great option.. and I think Interlochen could still be in the running. There is always the Blissfest Farm and I happen to know that Bliss’s head hancho is a big Jack fan. It doesn’t have to be a festival could be a one night show. Are you going to both Detroit shows? I am still working on the logistics, really want to see him at the Fox…it’s so swanky and cool there, I think it would be a fun opportunity and it suits the whole bands style.

@Matt thanks for the insight. looking forward to it brother!

So my daydream not sure how well it would work but I was thinking the state theater would be cool! With the small balcony and if they left the stars on in the ceiling while he played! Are you going to the temple show? US northerners should meet up. My kids are 6 and 9 and spending time with grandma n grandpa so I can go to the shows so I lucked out there!

Edgefield? awesome…wish I saw that earlier. what a trip that place is, so much history! Seems like a good fit for this album.

my daydream

@athinkingcat, I am in Petoskey. I hadn’t thought of Interlochens noise restrictions, there is always the beach bums stadium (haha). One of the last times we saw Dominic and Rachel play he mentioned that Jack likes to seek out new venues. I am still working on seeing him at the Fox, but am having a hard time organizing enough kid coverage (wish I could afford to take them all). Keep thinking up venues, I’d love to see Jack in Northern Michigan!

does anyone have the Ticketmaster presale password for the Jacksonville show? I’ll be at work tomorrow and I’ll miss out getting a pit ticket. Thanks

athinkingcat

@my daydream where are you that you suggest Interlochen and Traverse City Opera House. Glad i am not the only one thinking north! But i am in Traverse City so. Interlochen would be cool but with their noise restrictions and the people making you Sit in your seats and enforcing it i would think that would not be a good place as i will not be able to sit in my seat for any of these shows! The other two gonna have to look up never heard of them. But yes as always more Michigan somewhere interesting!

Tamora

Ready for my Carolina Drama! See you in SC

Matt Sure

@Ted Fisher Not knowing what will be on the stage itself, in terms of equipment, etc, my guess is you’ll have an excellent view of the stage, unobstructed. I think I’m in 123, opposite side of you, and I’m looking forward to an excellent view :)

I would have preferred the show be in one of the Playhouse Square theaters, although all of those are smaller venues (ie less tix available), but I’m fairly certain the way they’re setting this up, the actual usable space will be equivalent to say the Fox Theater in Detroit, if I’m thinking about it correctly.

my daydream

Hoping you’ll make it back to Michigan as well as your new hometown of Nashville, friends. How about Inhterlochen? The Calumet Theatre? Traverse City Opera House? Earthwork Farm Barn? There are a lot of unique and beautiful locations outside of the D. that could provide very real and interesting backdrops for your new music. Just a thought after looking at the Cleveland venue online. I bought my husband tickets to go with his brother, but it is so big. I wish he could make it down to the Detroit shows with me.
