I would have loved to go, seen many great acts there. Acid Mothers Temple was noisy, Quintron & Miss Pussycat was a sweaty dance party, Michael Yonkers was pretty low-key but amazing to see a legend, Danava blew down the walls, etc.

Hahahahahaha! Sitting here having flashbacks to when pre-sales were actually done through the Vault website and how much fun THAT was :) No 12/7 show for me, I work in retail so fuggedaboutit. But I’m definitely looking forward to a Nugs release of this one, it’s bound to be a killer even audio-only.

All the people complaining are making me laugh. There’s maybe 300-350 tickets available for a show that 10,000+ people want to see at one of the best music venues in the entire country. Of course it was going to be insanely hard to go to this show. But there’s sincerely no reason to be angry if you didn’t get tickets or to take it out on any of the staff here at Third Man Records or at Empty Bottle. They’re all just doing their job.

I knew it wasn’t going to be easy! Congratulations to everyone who scored a ticket or 2. It’s my 35th birthday today! Was really hoping to go as Jack is my all time favorite, it would be insane to see a couple of my favorite artists during this week! If anyone has someone back out on them I will gladly go in their place and pay accordingly, even get you a bev or two! Cell is SixOneTwo FiveSevenEight FiveOneThreeThree Insta @haylzmpls
If you missed out and aren’t seeing him on the 8th I highly suggest seeing Bass Drum of Death on Thursday night at Empty Bottle, they RIIIPPP!!!

Did anyone here actually get tickets?

Michael B.

If they sold 400 tickets it’s way oversold. About 1/2 those people won’t see the show. I’ve played there before and the room that that stage is in, standing capacity is 280. They must be counting the pool table room that’s connected to the bar, which acts as a merch area and coat room, as part of capacity. But you can’t see the stage from there

I have seen this done in the past. Scalpers will walk to the door with you, show credit card and then leave. I guess it costs around $500 to see this show. I have been to several shows here, and 400 is a bit hard to believe.

Come on. Bad press? Dude is doing a show for 400 people. Who else does that? I’m glad he did it. I’m glad he remembers the little clubs. I hope he does some more so I can still have that chance. Viva Jack White.

If tickets were going to be so limited, why even open it to the general public? This should’ve been only for vault members.
