On June 14th of this year, Jack White unleashed what was arguably one of the best performances in the 13 year history of the Bonnaroo festival.
In an expansive field in Manchester, TN, filled with approximately 70,000 fans, White let loose a tour-de-force, 26-song, two-hour and forty-five minute career-spanning set. From White Stripes songs like “Hotel Yorba” and “Icky Thump” to Raconteurs numbers such as “Top Yourself” and “Steady, As She Goes” through “Blue Blood Blues” by the Dead Weather…not to mention a wide selection of his solo material and covers of two surf rock classics “Pipeline” by the Chantays and “Misirlou” by Dick Dale. And Led Zeppelin’s “The Lemon Song”? He did that too.
In order to celebrate a show of such historical heft, Third Man Records has decided to dedicate the entirety of its 22nd Vault package to this performance.
Three vinyl LPs (white, blue and black), housed in a soft-touch, telescoping box, topped off with a lenticular television on the cover…this is by far the most ambitious Vault package yet. The audio has been mixed by Third Man’s in house engineer, three time Grammy Award-winner Vance Powell and stands as a marked improvement over the on-the-fly board mix heard in webcasts, YouTube uploads and shady downloads.
In addition, there will be a DVD of the FULL performance, re-edited from the original raw footage by Brad Holland (filmmaker extraordinaire), for a truly memorable visual document of the evening.
We could’ve stopped there…but anything worth doing is worth overdoing, right?
Also included in the package will be four high-quality 8x10 photographs from the evening shot by David Swanson. Suitable for framing, timeless, these will increase the value of your home tenfold.
(said to the guys in production) “Is that all? NO?!?!? Are you kidding me? What else could we offer?”
Apparently we’ve lost our minds and gone as for to include a customized Jack White patch, a replica backstage pass sticker AND a poster in this beast of a package.
You want a custom-designed USB with super-secret extra added bonus materials too? Have at it.
If this package doesn’t make you happy…nothing will. Subscriptions are open now, get yours in before the October 31st deadline.

The package is in the mail (international). Please sweet blue white and black vinyls make it for all my holiday time off . . .
looks like shipments are gunna start on Thursday….you’re lucky if your first name is at the end of the alphabet! Know the email didn’t promise christmas, but looking like maybe, possibly, hopefully, we have it for christmas!
It’s varied each year, anywhere from end of December to end of January. I seem to recall the second Christmas of the Vault being really insane because it was the year they introduced the holiday bundles with the record players and such (I think that was 2010), then I think the year after that we were all pleasantly surprised by the Vault package coming much earlier than expected. That’s part of what makes the Vault so much fun, the not knowing. I miss the days when they didn’t send out e-mail shipping notifications or tell us what order they were shipping in, it was such an agony to wait and then a delightful surprise to have that package just show up one day out of the blue.
would assume given it’s the holidays, it’ll be a bit here. How has this stuff done in the past?
Fabrizio: Yes, you have to be a Platinum member before the deadline. Erik Strandskow: The 6-8 week shipping time for Vault packages is just an estimate. In reality, it depends on how long it takes for all of the components to be produced for the number of subscriptions in that quarter, and on what else TMR is dealing with at the time the packages are ready to be shipped. (Did I do good, thinkingcat? Been a while since I pitched in to answer questions.)
If i am a gold member how do i grab a package? Do I have only to upgrade my subscription before the deadline?
Many thanks for your help
I am beyond excited for this package! This is my first vault package, so I was wondering if some of the Vault Veterans can give me an average time of delivery for the fourth quarter vault packages. I know it says 6 to 8 weeks after deadline they will be shipped, which would make this week the 5th week (I think), so they should be heading out soon!
So I guess my question is, how long after being shipped do you receive the package?
Also, is there some kind of system they use to ship? e.g. alphabetical or geographical
Please have a look at the female german artist Lary.

Maybe an opportunity for the vault to press lp’s like these?
@SpaceAce….I bow to your Vault senority, Sir! :-D And, thank you for affirming my post below. :-) Must say, had to google Aaron Rogers’ worthy R-E-L-A-X motto. To which I add the 2014 catch phrase from Hunter Pence of the world champs SF Giants: an enthusiastic “YesYes!” to the Platinum Vault rewards. As to your 22 stellar package collection-WOW! What are your favorites, if it’s possible to choose?
@ARLABAR…… Well put my friend, well put… Dan this will be my 22nd installment as a member of the TMR’s Vault… Have not been disappointed yet! Hence why I have bought all 22! Still waiting for GBMS on vinyl, but hey that is a topic for another forum… Be patient and enjoy the vinyl when you get it… This quarter it is a triple lp, so it is a nice one to start on.. And yes I whole heartedly agree that TMR is the “Gold Standard” I had one hiccup with like Vault Release # 8 or #9 and they quickly remedied the situation… Which was amazing… No hiccups since either… So like Aaron Rogers said: R-E-L-A-X and enjoy the music once you get it, it will be worth the wait.. The fun is opening the package when you get it.. Check the Vault Novelties as you might be able to pick up some cool stuff that you missed.. That White Stripes 3/4 shirt is pretty cool …
