Happy Friday, everyone! We have yet another contest for you all to enter and this one is going to be a doozy. Anytime between now and Wednesday, June 10 at 5pm CST, we are inviting Vault members to send us their most vibrant cover song from 2004's Van Lear Rose, in anticipation of the upcoming Vault package! Here are the stipulations for entries to be considered:
1.) In lyrical content and melody, the song must clearly be a cover from Van Lear Rose
2.) Entries must be uploaded to YouTube before being sent in
3.) Entries must include "Third Man Vault Contest" and the song title in the video title
4.) Entries must include "Third Man Records," "The Vault," "Loretta Lynn" and "Van Lear Rose" in the tags for the video
5.) Then, email your first name, last name and a link to your YouTube video to: vaultcontests@thirdmanrecords.com
Finally, the winning video and a few honorable mentions will be posted on the Vault site for everyone to check out.
The grand prize for the winner of this contest is a treat from Third Man's graphic design department -- an authentic production proof of the 4 previously unreleased photos that will be included in Vault package #24. This is a one-of-a-kind proof that is usually kept in our design archive, not for eyes outside of Third Man headquarters, so we are excited to be able to offer it as the prize for the lucky winner!

Yes, it counts
Would an instrumental cover count?
Loling at comments below. :-D I think ALL together we could make a beautiful noise. Which song would be the key. As in off or on.
For a moment I thought this was a cover ART contest…not a bad idea too though. That one’s free guys.
this contest is not for me….Music is Sacred….I don’t want to blaspheme…. :-( Good luck to everyone! :-)
Im thinking about a flamenco percussion of red shoes and castenets…. Where is Brad Holland when i need him with that Red Dragon???? If im lucky i will pull off some hand claps and basic guitar chords without too much tin can dead air…. What a fun project!
