Two (2) lucky winners will receive an original Icky Thump Records* bag filled with exclusive White Stripes memorabilia — only some of which is shown in the photo above! Ben Blackwell even donated two ICKY THUMP PROMO PRESS PACKS direct from his personal archive. They each contain a press photo and lyric sheets that form a puzzle, all housed in a simple black folder.
*What is Icky Thump Records, you ask? Allow me to give you a brief history lesson: Sadly, Tower Records closed it’s doors in 2006. The following summer, The White Stripes temporarily turned it’s vacant Sunset Strip location into “Icky Thump Records” to celebrate their new album release. They played an exclusive in-store for the first 200ish people through the door to buy their new album. Don’t believe me? Check out photo proof below, as well as video footage from the show!

But that’s not your only chance to win! 150 lucky folks will receive both an Icky Thump sticker (from the desirable Vault package #1: Icky Thump Mono) as well as a button.
I know what you may be thinking— “A button?! LAME.” These are not just any buttons, however… these particular buttons are leftover from designer Brandy St. John’s production of Jack and Meg’s jackets featured on the Icky Thump album cover.

The inspiration for the jackets came from the Pearly Kings and Queens in the UK. Below are photos of Brandy St. John’s sketches during the design process of the jackets.

Wanted the grand prize, but very excited to figure out which item needs a shiny new red button. Hat band, stuffed bear eye, replacing the “alt” key on my keyboard so as not to think about white supremacists when checking email… the possibilities are endless.
Sadyly, I was not notified….but the Vault Pkg#33 is still “The Must Have for the Season”!!!!
I thought I won the grand prize…I was freaking out! Then, I actually read the email when I settled down. Haha! I’m such a dork…
Did anyone win the grand prize? I won the button and sticker. Super Pumped! however I am still hopeful that the grand prize will show up at my door step :)
