Vault members, Beefheart fans, gear heads, folks that just wanna ham it up - Rejoice! This is the contest for you. It’s been awhile since the last Vault photo contest, so we thought we’d celebrate the long-awaited return with a prize that’s bound to excite even the least excitable - a Third Man edition Critter & Guitari Septavox synthesizer!
Fairy tales, you say? Not in the least. We’re giving away a Septavox for zero units of currency in any denomination.
How does one get a chance at this most tantalizing of rewards? What ever must I do? I WANT THE SYNTH AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET IT!
Get creative, that’s what! We want to see those Vault 36 replica trout masks we shipped all over the world being used/worn/flown/whatever in the most creative ways your mind can conjure. Be bold! Be silly! Be fast! And perhaps also bulbous! (But also family-friendly. And SAFE!) Simply send in photos (real ones!) of you and your trout mask out and about in the world in ways that you believe will yield maximum entertainment for Third Man staffers, we will select a winner, and upon them will be bestowed a tool to create everything from the most beautiful tones to the most blood-curdling electronic noise.

You’re welcome to send as many unique entries as you wish, however sending the same one multiple times will anger an otherwise merciful Vault worker. Entries must be received by next Friday, August 24th. The lucky winner will be notified by email and their winning photo will be posted on the Vault for all to admire.
