Timmy's Organism new track, P4K Radio slot, tour dates

Punk garage group Timmy's Organism are set to release their new album Heartless Heathen on October 30. Check out the second single "Weather Woman" over at FLOOD. Timmy's Organism will have a slot on P4K Radio, tomorrow, October 21st, 3-4PM EST. Today, Timmy's Organism also announced dates for their US tour, check it out below.

Fronting some of the most original, compelling and unpredictable bands (not only in Detroit, but the world) for over two decades, Tim Lampinen's work with the Epileptix, Clone Defects, and Human Eye has always held a rapturous cult following. Yet his work with his current trio, Timmy's Organism, presents Lampinen (aka Timmy Vulgar) along with bassist Jeff Giant and drummer Blake Hill, ready for their close-up. With Heartless Heathen the group touches on their artistic and spiritual forbears of Captain Beefheart and Destroy All Monsters, while amply ramping up the slop culture rapture of classic punk 'n' roll like Chrome, Crime, and the Damned as well as contemporaries like Thee Oh Sees. There's a reason why Lampinen won a $25,000 Kresge Grant for his work with his bands...he creates music that borders on art, live shows that border on theater. It's high time the rest of the world takes notice. Are you ready?

what Katie said!!! NOTE: Louisville venue changed to the much more friendly and fun Nach Bar… Much more accessible from I264 exit at Poplar Level Road which becomes Goss Avenue… Great Brews and good friens with the kind of Biergarten that will make you wanna call all your friends andpony up the kegger at the table… Good choice for a lively Oktoberfest!

Day before Thanksgiving at UFO? Better schedule an Uber ride for this one…

Kaiju …. 1004 E Oak St. Louisville, KY ….. Hmmmm… East Oak street is a one way street headed east off of I64 headed North and off I64 South the driver might want to exit at St. Catherine and drive 2 blocks to 3rd street South to get on Oak headed East… That club has had more than a few names… Lisa’s Bar would be the most recent name… The gig space holds maybe 40 people total standing and the ventilation is … Ripe… So get there early and park as clise to the bar as you can… People in that crowd mostly stand around and stare like hipster intellectuals but the neighborhood necessitates you dont leave stuff in plain site in your car… The real punk bar to play would have been Third Street Dive in my opinion but hey… Good Luck with that one I picked up some Golden Greats by the Ventures today and its set to spin… Ciao!
