There was a point in the Jack White "Supply Chain Issues" tour where it became obvious that just about EVERY performance was altering, mind-blowing, life-affirmingly great to whomever was lucky enough to be in the room at that moment. The January 13, 2023 performance at the Belasco is no exception. To have a crowd hanging on every last note, every last whispered word… To hold them so much in the palm of his hand that they crouch down on the floor and jump back up at his say so…  this is the mark of a true showman, of a consummate entertainer. Belasco was just another drop dead, hot shit, melt your face show in a tour that was absolutely crammed to the brim with them.
