THIRD MAN PHOTO STUDIO ACCEPTS FILM FROM CUSTOMERS WORLDWIDE

Did you know Third Man Photo Studio develops film by hand in the #darkroom hidden within the walls of the Blue Room? Send us YOUR film! Our darkroom operators hand-load and develop each roll using stainless steel tanks and fine-tuned development time for black and white film stocks. Once your film is developed, we can also enlarge your negatives to create traditional silver gelatin prints. The silver gelatin process yields prints which are archival and of the highest possible quality.

"In the six-ish years I've been at TMR making photos it has been a joy to use our darkroom for my personal projects and for TMR's artists/endeavors. Forming a tangible connection to my work through the darkroom has made me feel much closer to my own creative process, and to photography as an art form and part of art history. I am extremely stoked that (with the help of our super talented and earnest darkroom staff) my friends in Nashville and abroad can now invoke a little of our darkroom's magic in their own work." -Angelina Castillo, one of Third Man's talented in-house photographer

Check out Angelina's film photos (below) of the Raconteurs rehearsing in the Blue Room and their performance at Third Man's 10 Year Anniversary Party!

I highly recommend this service. I had some prints made and could not be happier. the quality you get from this service is unparalleled. Careful when opening prints so not to get any drool on them.
