Ah, the open road -- the sights, the sounds, the snacks. Road trips hold a very special place in the canon of American coming-of-age. Few places can you learn as much about your friends as you can crammed in a tight space with music, your surroundings and the ever-polarizing choice of gas station (Team Sheetz!) as conversation fodder.
Making a trip in the Rolling Record Store isn't too different than making any good road trip: it requires the right company, the right route and the right playlist. So, we have thrown together a list of songs to give you a taste of the roaddog life in Third Man's iconic mobile shop. Make yourself cozy in the co-pilot's chair and let the cathartic jamming commence --
You guys should give Quizze her own special column around here…she doesn’t post enough yet….

:-D LoL @Stacelings, “older but wiser” that’s the name of that tune… @athinkingcat, yes! Making the tapes, the CDs was as fun as listening to them and making them for friends.
I loved making mix tapes as gifts @Stacelings! Got so Into it I would insert cartoon themes and jerky boys bits in between songs. You just made me nostalgic mix cds foe Christmas it is!
These are very nice. I miss the days of mix tapes. Playlists don’t have the same care and attention to them. I sound old. I am going to go yell at someone to get off my lawn.
