PRE-BONNAROO HANG OUT!

Bonnaroo is upon us, and every year we are pleasantly surprised by the amount of Festival-goers who take a momentary pitstop from their Summertime pilgrimage to stop in and see us in downtown Nashville... This year, on the main Bonnaroo travel day, Thursday, June 11th, we've decided to do a little more for those swinging through Pie Town. Listen up!

1: FOOD + FACILITIES!!! We'll be grilling hot dogs and beer on our back patio! We've got the Stone Fox on deck as our trusty grill masters and bartenders, and they'll be serving up their "Bonnaroo Dog" — an all beef (or all veggie!) hot dog topped with refried beans, white queso cheese, pickled jalepenos, and cilantro lime sour cream! We'll also have PBR tallboys and local Fat Bottom brews to wash it down. All costing between $4 and $6, these may be the last wallet friendly treats you taste all weekend... The patio will be open and serving up the goods from 11am until 5pm!

2: THIRD MAN RECORDING SERVICE!!! We'll be re-opening the Third Man Recording Service for business! Debuting on Record Store Day this year, Third Man Recording Service opens up our Blue Room music venue (the only space in the world where live shows can be recorded direct-to-acetate) for YOU to make a recording via our 1955 Scully lathe. It's a one mic / one take operation accommodating 1-3 people, and acoustic instruments are preferred, though we will have 1 amp on hand for those who simply must plug in. We supply a guitar — any other instruments are up to the performer to supply. Space is limited and recordings are by appointment only.

SCHEDULE YOUR RECORDING

3: DEALS & STEALS!!! We'll be having a massive lemonade stand t-shirt sale both Wednesday and Thursday from 10-3 outside the shop. T-shirts will be going for a VERY nice price... as low as $5! Anyone wearing a Bonnaroo wristband will get 10% off their in-store purchase (some exclusions apply), and we'll have a few limited wax goodies! Oh! And because it's festival season, and we like to keep it fresh, we'll be debuting a few new merch items just in time for Summer sunshine...

4. FUN!!! Just trust us on this one... our patio is outfitted with a primo cornhole court, astroturf for lounging around, and, of course, we will pump some good music out there as well. Also, we recently expanded our storefront, so even if you just came through last year for Bonnaroo, your experience is out of date! Re-up your Third Man connection... We might even have a fun surprise or two in store!

If you are planning your trip, we are only 11 minutes away from the Nashville Airport, and 1 hour from the farm, located at 623 7th Avenue South. The store is open from 10-6 M-Sat, and 12-5pm on Sundays. Stop by! Say hi! Tell us who you're most excited to see play! Let's. hang. out.

Will there be much going on Friday ? I’m headed that way to see The Heartless Bastards at The Mercy Lounge with Craig Finn ! Should be a great show, long time HB Fan !

Has anyone signed up yet?! I am hoping prices may be a bit cheaper and I may swing on by.

This is awesome but the main bonnaroo travel day is on Wednesday… Gates open Wednesday night and music starts on Thursday. As much as I’d love to come check this out and record, I can’t miss music on the farm!

I just like the fact that this is more than a one off concept especially when my friends from here and there and everywhere may be in the area… Now if only Lousyville locals will make some tracks it will be just the tea party that a certain madhatter bluegrasser might find to be his cuppa brew!?!

TMR, you’re amazing! You folks always have the coolest ideas and opportunities for your admirers. Sounds like so much fun. Know it’ll be a blast for those lucky enough to swing by and hang out.

This is awesome. I hope they do more of these Third Man Recording Service shin digs in the future. I’d plan a trip from CT just to be able to do that.
