Pamela Johnson Parker is a medical editor who also teaches creative writing at Murray State University. Her chapbooks are A Walk Through the Memory Palace, which won the Qarrtsiluni Prize, and Other Four-Letter Words, published by Finishing Line Press. A full-length collection, Galaxies that Might Be You, was a finalist for the Bruckheimer Award in 2013. Pamela’s essays and poems have appeared in such journals as Oranges and Sardines, Poets and Artists, Muscadine Lines, A Journal of the South, and Spaces. One of Pamela’s poems was chosen by D.A. Powell for 2011’s Best New Poets, and a broadside of “Odysseus: Uxoria”, which won the Switcheroo Prize, is included in Poets on Painting.
