We can't wait for Peter Walker and his psychedelic guitar stylings to grace our Blue Room this Friday. For those unfamiliar with Walker's mind-bending and ear-soothing blend of styles, we've put together a playlist for you to sample some of his oeuvre as well as a handful of tracks from our friend, the great William Tyler, who will be opening the performance on Friday.
We're also pleased to announce that Brothers of Wax (members of Weekend Babes and Paperhead) will be DJ'ing before the show.
If you still haven't gotten your tickets, we still have a few left in the store and online. Buy 'em here!
You must have been there ARLABAR
Wow. I’m trippin’ man. Having a flashback…my good ol’ daze of psychedelic purple haze. Ok “good” is debatable. But there was Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds-right next to Jesus & the Maharishi Major starry constellations-that’s what I saw! I fed my head like the dormouse said in all my hippie flowered halo glory. :-D and my generation tuned in, turned on & dropped out to lunch. The world seemed to turn like a beautiful kaleidoscope and the truly valuable lasting contribution was the music. I lived for the next concert, the next great album. High on life and love and rocknroll. Then the drugs wore off or lingered not in a good way and we grew up, hopefully. But that music is timeless as all great music is and thank God for artists like Peter Walker who live to transport.us to another world once again….“what a long strange trip it’s been”… I’m wishing I could take a trip to the blue room Friday.
birthday

This was just what i needed to settle down after work! I see beautiful colorful dreams of pastures, fields, flowing waters, trees swaying in the breeze, dancing ribbons of color, etc.! Such amazing beautiful music gives me such peace.
