In celebration of Bathtub Love Killings, we are bringing a special pop-up store to Los Angeles, located within the Scion AV installation (7667 Melrose Ave), from November 15 through December 6. Fans will be able to purchase exclusive Olivia Jean merchandise as well as the "Plum Series" 7" vinyl collection - paying homage to all the Third Man Records records Olivia Jean has played on over the years - with special limited edition plum colored artwork. The following Blue Series and Jack White singles have been OJ'ed: Wanda Jackson "You Know I'm No Good," The Black Belles "What Can I Do?," Karen Elson "The Ghost Who Walks," The Secret Sisters "Big River," Jack White "Love Interruption," "Freedom at 21," "I'm Shakin'," and "Lazaretto."
Beyond her regular merchandise, Olivia Jean will also have a few pop-up specific items: a new t-shirt as well as tote bag!
Olivia Jean and her band will be performing three times while in Los Angeles this week, so if you are in Sunny CA, be sure to catch one of the following in-stores:

I was at the opening of the pop up shop last night and bought a plum series bundle but was disappointed to see Lazaretto missing! Its the first single in your picture too!!
Ivana, I agree this imagery lacks in taste and borderlines unethical. But that’s “art”, (or the attempt of) for ya. However, I wouldn’t be opposed to a TMR fashion line featuring replicas of Oliva’s get-ups. Girl can dress.

I remember introducing the idea of the merry widow to folks in the little room at the whitestripes.net site some years ago…i believe i was explaining how one can reach a certain age where they enjoy dating and light hearted romance within a very leisurely context after having lost so many tears and enough grief to those significant relationships in ones past due to circumstances beyond ones own control… my reference was specifically to the traditional greek sociocultural moniker… seems like this is a one-off play on the term to me but its got a fun sound and wicked ass set of keys keepin it saucy… oh yeah… another round of drinks everyone??? Great atmospheric recordings there Jackie… clever indeed
