Olivia Jean & the Rolling Record Store Southeast In-Stores
Scion was filming a commercial with OJ and handing out socks and singles… lots of guys brought their daughters to the show also
Glad to hear a decent cover of Specials ‘Ghost Town’ at the Guest Room appearance and pick up a pair of those sweet socks!
Hi Ben. I’m usually not a whiner something like the purple version of this record would have been a perfect item for a vault member special purchase.
Bought the LP from a local store the other day and got a defective copy. Not a warp, but a bump of sorts in tracks 2 & 3 on Side 1. Ran back to exchange it the next day and the second copy is the same way :/
I’m going to run for a 3rd exchange today, but I’m guessing this store in particular got a bad run or something.
Got the record and wasn’t blown away upon my first listen. After two or three more it’s really growing on me. This is album is a lot more complex than I originally gave it credit for. To me an album that grows on you is mark of a great record. Like a fine scotch it has many layers and flavors of greatness. Thanks for making a great record Olivia Jean!
Such a bummer the color vinyl is not available via the vault, but have to say the standard version is a beauty. Thanks for putting this out.
Hey marc there is new Vault Exclusive stuff added to the store EVERY MONTH.
Yeh, I second the above. Its impossible for some to get to the rolling store if you don’t live in that part of the country. A vault membership should give you the option to buy more vault exclusive merchandise, other than t-shirts in size sm. and med. When’s the last time vault members were offered an exclusive worthwhile buy?
Last night in Cincinnati at Shake It Records. What a fantastic gig! Can’t wait to see you again(probably on a bigger stage).
Be safe on the road kids…
