As you may or may not have heard, we like to post a special, exclusive Vault novelty item or two (or three) available for purchase by Platinum Vault Members only on the first working Monday of each month. These items range from past Vault components to exclusive RSD colored vinyl and everything in-between. We don’t guarantee that items will be posted every month, but IF they are it is usually sometime between the hours of 9am-12pm CST. We never announce what/when/if an item will be posted so it’s up to YOU, competent Vault member, to check back again (and again…and again…) for items to become available for purchase. These items are available only to Platinum Vault members and only through our Vault Novelties store, and are often listed in very limited quantity making them strictly one-per-member.

The seven inch picture disk is grossly overpriced, mix in the shipping and as my friend Obama says “come on man” again a deep dive into the vault I have yet to witness. Even if you only throw up an item that you have 1 or 2 of at least we can all have that “OH SHIT” moment and hope it was us that clicked that shit fast enough. Come on third man don’t disappoint, as much as we all want the blue flexi disk with hawaiian pocket shirt, or the 7inch vault bundle, throw us a bone, and by a bone I mean how about a cool test pressing or something.
The Vault discount has not been working for me on these special Monday items, but does for any other Vault or store items that I purchased along with my Monday specials.
Do the Vault10 discount work on these items? I was logged in and it said I could use it, but my membership is current?
I was able to get them both bought at 11:59cst, when they went on sale. The “Vault only members” showed up first on the picture disc, then the Willie after about 15-20mins later, which they could have sold out that fast.
Just emailed them. We shall see.
jon, a better option would probably be to e-mail vault@thirdmanrecords to let them know there’s an issue. I swear the Hello Operator picture disc was accessible earlier today, so it’s just glitchy all over the place. Dunno about you, but I’m having Modlife flashbacks.

jon kaplan: Seems to be some wonkiness in how they’re setting up the pages. Seems like they’re transferring over pages from the Past Vault Releases section and there’s a glitch in updating what needs to be changed on each page to make it properly sale-able in the Novelties section. E-commerce can be a bitch that way.
So how come the recently added Hello Operator picture 7" and the Willie Nelson and Friends vault novelties just say “Vault Members Only” below it and won’t let me buy it? I am a vault member and I am logged in. Is it just sold out and they haven’t found a way to add “SOLD OUT” to the item?
