Saw them the night before in Chicago! Bought all the Rev. Sekou 45’s and passed em out to the crowd, so, sorry if there were no vinyl 45’s left. Great show in Chicago, hope to hear it on vinyl from the Blue Room.

Being from Mississippi, I have always been proud of these cats. Was a big fan of their dad’s, too. As a matter of fact, the last time I saw Luther was at the Jack White show in Starkville. We had a nice chat.

I left work one evening the week before this show and drove more than three hours to Philadelphia to see Dominic play with these guys and it was worth every moment I spent inching along in traffic because they and Rev. Sekou are seriously like a religious experience. This is one Blue Series show that it pained me to miss, especially after finding out that Daru also played with them. Damned shame Nashville isn’t as close as Philly. Thank you for the great, great photos.
