I’ve known Strictly Kev aka DJ Food for quite some time and worked with him a bit as well, one of the top electronic / Hip-Hop DJ’s on our planet.
Nice of him to name check me on the re-issue I did of Jean-Michel Basquiat’s hip hop production. This Rammellzee record is one of the best rap records of all time, hands down. Really out there too.
The record was a massive influence to The Beastie Boys (they sampled it on Jimmy James) and Cypress Hill too.

Been a dj food and ninja tune fan since 94….great creative record label that ignited my vinyl addiction. So much fun to blow folks minds at parties and shows playing this crazy hip hop mishmash of musical genres: up bustle and out, Vadim, funki porcini, Sam sever and so many folks ahead of heir time

Somehow I believe this image belongs in this thread as slightly irregular dope scenarios that history should memorialize https://scontent-mia1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpt1/t31.0-8/fr/cp0/e15/q65/12374757_10207126605738009_2977010401768634151_o.jpg?efg=eyJpIjoidCJ9
