Hard work, grit, and pristine musicality drenched in real life experience from the school of hard knocks... THAT'S Nashville. That's Country Music. That's Margo Price. If you haven't heard Margo's gorgeous debut offering MIDWEST FARMER'S DAUGHTER (whether track by track as we've released them, or via NPR Music, or because you've already been streaming it on Apple Music, TIDAL, or Spotify this morning), then it's time you get on board. This record is already being heralded by journalists-in-the-know as a contender for the "best country record of 2016," and we don't disagree. We guarantee you'll be hooked by the opening track "Hands of Time," which tells the story of Margo's life, the ups, downs and everything in between. MIDWEST FARMER'S DAUGHTER, recorded at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis, TN only exists because Price pawned her wedding ring, sold the family car, and did not take no for an answer. We were more than happy to answer "YES" when the record arrived at our label offices, and we hope you will take our word for it that the hype is warranted, the buzz is deserved, and Margo Price is the real deal. Interested? Purchase here and you will immediately understand why Margo Price is taking the music industry by storm.

Watch Margo's recent performances at the Opry, on the NPR and Pandora stages at SXSW, and last night on Conan O'Brien, or hear her NPR segment that aired today on Morning Edition. If you're already smitten and ready to see her sing live and in person, catch her on tour in a town near you:

I agree, please more copies of the Wildflower pressings, looks fantastic.

Please put up a handful more of the Wildflower Pressings. I beg of thee. Am I really going to have to give a flipper $150 for this beautiful record? I’d rather my money go to Ms. Price herself.

And how bout that killer band of hers?!! Those Pricetags are the complete package! With all the honkytonkin’, cowboy kickin’, country rockin, fiddle lickin’, Western swingin’ goodness a girl could ask for! That is good time, dance line, swing time, my kind-of country music. :-) So happy for Margo! Her hard work and hard knocks are finally paying off. Jackpot, Jack! For all of us..

I love Margo’s voice, her songs! Even if she weren’t championed by Jack White, I would love her:-D ..But thanks to Providential timing, Jack and TMR Vision, Miss Margo has arrived! She’s a shot of realness the country music scene needs. She is not overproduced but the real deal.with singable songs to boot. Make room all you shiny country cuties, Miss Margo Price is Right ;) on track to be the new darlin’ of Americana and country music!

Finally received mine, as it took two days to get out of Nash and then was delivered to my work address on Saturday. I already know the songs are great because I’ve been streaming them on NPR and Tidal, but I don’t think it’s obvious how great the artwork is until you pull off that shrinkwrap. You guys have really shifted the focus from tangible to tactile and in this case combined it with absolutely lush colors. And the lyric sheet, while damned hard to read, is such a treat— Pleasing to the senses now and, for those with a green thumb, after you put it in the soil as well. Many, many kudos to Nate for this one.

Got my copy yesterday for my birthday! AWESOME

Don’t know if it was mentioned here or not, but Margo and her band performed on CBS News Saturday Morning during the last 15 minutes of the broadcast. The did a very nice segment about her talking about everything she went through in order to get this record made, including selling the family car and her wedding ring. This woman has certainly paid her dues. I’ll bet when she’s named as best new artist at next year’s Grammy awards, the major record labels that turned her away will be kicking themselves in the ass.
