We are hungry to test a new method of recording our live shows… direct-to-acetate-meets-breakfast! None other than the pride of Hawaii, surfer/filmmaker/musician Jack Johnson, will be joining us for a very special, family-friendly live show this Saturday morning at 10:30 am. Jack and his beachy tunes have been bringing a piece of the big, blue sea to both grown-ups and not-quites for over a decade, and we have no doubt he will feel right at home doing just that in our big, blue room.
Ticketing will be handled slightly differently for this show. Each purchase includes 1) a PAIR (2) tickets to the performance/taping & 2) a PRE-ORDER of the BLACK & BLUE Split-color vinyl record, which will be recorded direct-to-acetate that morning. Tickets are now available online or in our Nashville storefront.
That was AWESOME. My little one had a blast. Thank you, TMR!
Ditto on the Kills.
Forget Jack Johnson. I want the KILLS!!!!
I didn’t know who this fellow was until I clicked on his name and clicked again and saw a picture of him with all the farm aid guys (Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews). Way to go TMR! I will try to be more vigilant for more shows in the future….feeling kind of, NO, feeling really dumb for passing up this opportunity (there are always going to be things to take care of around the house but this is another lost opportunity on my part).
I’m starting to wish I lived in Nashville….my kids and I would be hip on this.
Answer: Read the description in the on-line store.
This is a nice idea. I’d like to hang out in the Blue Room on a Saturday morning…just got this coming Saturday already booked with stuff to get done around the house = responsibilities. I’ll be watching for more of these events to happen in the future. Thanks TMR for experimenting new experiences. How about a slumber party in the Blue Room?
Question: If I buy a pair of tickets and can’t go, can I still get the Black & Blue?
There is no way this is happening!!! Guess they’ll serve banana pancakes :)
Amazeballs!
