You may or may not have been hearing the latest buzz about the new podcast, S-Town. Regardless, Third Man's podcast aficionado Ariana caught our attention with her most recent recommendation and we're instantly hooked. Read her review below and we dare you not to become intrigued...
"Not too long ago most folks had no idea what a podcast was or how to listen to one. Then there was Serial. Serial came along to break all the rules of what a podcast could be. Now the world was paying attention to podcasts! (If you haven't listened to Serial (season one) stop everything and listen to that now, right now!) It changed the game of podcasts forever, and if you're like me, left me yearning for something raw and emotional to listen to afterwards. Finally the hole has been filled. I introduce you to S-town. Brought to us by the creators of This American Life and Serial just last week (and all 7 episodes at once no-less). S-town has the magic, and by magic I mean you can't wait to talk about it with your friends, your co-workers, your mom, your grocery store clerk or strangers on the internet. It weaves a web of mystery, of heartache, of hope and loss. It is a little bit of everyone, and a little bit of something that is seemingly untouchable. It is a story about story telling, and the things you learn along the way. It is completely engaging from the start to finish and each episode will leave you haunted with so many questions! Will they be answered? Well you will just have to listen to find out. Have you listened yet? Let us know what you think!"

Thank you Ariana. We loved it.
It was like a great work of fiction that had numerous plot twists, but it was all real. Better than any movie or book I have seen or read in a long time.
thats the point of multi media vs. mass media….. discerning what format or vehicle of expression your person retains or is even receptive towards so that arrival at the end and the spark of intuitive engagement is not just an exercise in futility for the sake of populatirity… certainly its quality creativity and masterfully made… just not for me
You might think from “the guys voice” to dimiss this. You’d be surprised how eloquent and thoughtful he is at the end.
Sooo good!! I love that you recommended this!!
