White – who earlier this year sold out Toronto’s Budweiser Stage – has a long history of touring Canada. Summer 2007 famously saw The White Stripes play shows in every province and territory in the country – marking the first and still only band to do so. The tour in support of ICKY THUMP also included the band’s 10th Anniversary show held in Glace Bay, NS. The historic trek was captured by filmmaker Emmett Malloy in the 2009 documentary (and accompanying CD/Double LP) UNDER GREAT WHITE NORTHERN LIGHTS.

I am unable to make the Laval, Montreal, show, which I have two tickets from the Vault pre-sale. I am close to giving them away because I don’t want them to go to waste. Please post if interested. Thanks.
Has anyone heard anything about early entry for any of these shows? I’m heading up for the Halifax concert.
This show is a must see. Jack does just the right mix of material. The stage screen was so unique,it changed for every song even if he played the same song the next night. Loved his mix of Blunderbuss and you got her in your pocket(AMAZING) and thanks for Black Math and Icky Thump. Great show !
Rode the rail at Seattle, I thought that show sounded GREAT! Astro and I Fought Piranhas sent me too the moon, not to mention Slowly Turning into You! Freakin’ Daughter made me ugly cry. I felt the whole band was on top of their game! Previously saw them in Portland and CO both awesome show’s but rail at Seattle was phenomenal! Only bad part of wamu was their weird alcohol policy, drinks only in designated area, bah!
Saw the Seattle show last night. It was pretty good but not as good as 4 years ago. WaMu is a terrible venue, it’s more for trade shows and things like that. Should have been at The Paramount, way more history. Also, so odd that he didn’t have Olivia Jean come out for Love Interruption but then had her out for I fought Piranhas. Hotel Yorba was an odd rendition, not bad but not great either. It felt kind of like maybe they were wore out a little. Hard to say, there was still a ton of energy and still was a fun show, maybe if they had an extra day from their last show to rest, then I think it would have been better. Next time do it outside!
Success! Got great seats to the Winnipeg show after repeated attempts at getting tickets earlier in the day. Tried again not too long ago and it worked! Keep trying!
Darryl I’m on the floor sat in a seat at the Toronto show wanted to experience the madness on floor this time
