Jack White has announced intimate shows at Brooklyn's Kings Theatre on Saturday, November 17 and Chicago's Aragon Ballroom on Monday, November 19. These dates come shortly before his tour finale at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on November 20. A limited amount of pre-sale tickets will be available to Third Man Vault members starting Thursday, October 11th at 10am local time. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, October 12th at 11am local time. Jack, darlin’, could you please become one of those artists who takes a stand against Ticketmaster’s price-gouging scams and ridiculous fees? By the time I heard about the 11/16 Brooklyn show this afternoon, pit tickets had jumped to over $200. With fees, my single ticket came to almost $250. When Ticketmaster says about their Official Platinum tickets that “The goal is to give the most passionate fans fair and safe access to the best tickets, while enabling artists and other people involved in staging live events to price tickets closer to their true value”, what they mean is “We know you’re a bunch of overzealous addicts who will max out your credit cards and dip into your savings to get to these shows, so we’re going to charge you platinum prices”. I am a passionate fan, Jack, and I know that in the heat of the moment in the midst of the show I will say it’s worth every bloody cent. But just now I’m reading the news about the devastation in Panama City Beach and thinking that there are a lot better things I should be doing with at least half of the money I just spent (if not all of it), but I can’t because I am an addict, you are a pusher extraordinaire with the drug I need, and Ticketmaster has decided they have the power to rip us all off.

It’s a Ticketmaster problem. Had to do the same thing last week, jump from link to the app to the actual website for Hamilton pre-sale. Ticketmaster needs to get their shit together. I already saw him intimately in Chicago at The Metro. I am not going to travel back to Chicago (for a forth time this year!) from Detroit, although I would love to see this show. Damn! Only if I knew the train schedules! lol
