If you've been to any of Jack's shows, you very likely saw him and the band play at least one cover song. This year has been an especially adventurous year for Jack's cover song repertoire, and we think it is worth taking note! What better way to document all the excitement than getting all the covers together in one place?!
In the comments section below, please list a cover that you have seen Jack play in 2014 in any of his venue or festival shows. As comments are left, we will be compiling a Spotify playlist, then post it for your enjoyment as the list comes to completion.
Here are a few songs to get you started:
Manic Depression - Jimi Hendrix
300 Pounds of Heavenly Joy - Howlin' Wolf
Born Under a Bad Sign - Albert King
Dead Dogs Two - cLOUDDEAD
Misirlou - Dick Dale
I'm in the Mood - John Lee Hooker
99 Problems - Jay Z

Jack’s cover of You Don’t Love Me Anymore – Flat Duo Jets in the Third Man Blue Room is currently on repeat in my head, thanks TMR crew for the video. Anyway we can get a download of it???
Well, since it’s still 3 months before I see Jack again I’m going to break the rules here and add a cover he did, not during this tour, but with the Dead Weather in 2010 when I saw him in Billings, MT. “You Just Can’t Win,” by the Them. Van Morrison was the original singer in that one, and Jack performed a fabulous rendition. Granted, it was my first time seeing him so I was enchanted. Great lyrics as well.
Stomping Tom cover of “Sudbury Saturday night” @Osheaga 3d 2014
Whole lotta love – jaxville
That’s not a cover song, he co-wrote it.
“You Know That I Know”-Hank Williams @ St. Louis. Another Brilliant show from
Mr. White.
Fried My Little Brains by The Kills at Bonnaroo
I was at the Milwaukee show
he teased Jack the Ripper in Charlotte for about a minute
He played a bit of Lorde’s “Royals” in Milwaukee :)
