its surprising that little to nothing has been mentioned in this thread… im sure the event was a spirited and festive occassion…. maybe not so much about TMR when all was said and done…. i think i saw jacks shoe in one picture maybe…. but more to the point … Iggy as a celebrity is getting his place in the broader artistic sense these days and that is long over due… i wish someone like kanye would have turned out or showed their interest as a form of diverse expression of awareness and appreciation …very few artists get themselves out there into the conversation across cultural barriers in my opinion… kanye might find the wisdom of iggys journey to serve as an example of how a genuine cultural innovator managed a long series of personally evolutionary choices while continuously moving forward and making ground in an industry fraught with pitfalls and chaotically extreme manifestations to be likened to a lantern along the way …. one thing is certain…. you can see the ravages of time have not overcome iggys spirit as he seems to maintain his ability to touch the earth sensibly while the Ye seems to have progressively forgotten how touching the earth serves to define both personal and professional boundaries which punctuate the narrative of creative manifestation…. if i might suggest one thing this holiday season it would be a thoughtful set of introductions as a gift to the Yeesus of this third man books volume….. genius needs a liitle grounding as well as a little light through a keyhole in the keep of madmen window from time to time…. seriously ….i am thankful that TMR is taking the time to lend a hand to Iggy but i worry that the fabric of reason will not reach those outliers who might most benefit from the cultural truths there for the taking due to the crush of crass commercialism on the face of all these salvadore dali clocks melting off the wall as the Icky Thumps on towards the decline of individualism as art and form in experimentation
