Year Four of the annual Field Day competition was better than ever; every team really brought their A-game this year. The Nashville community teams were comprised of the original four teams: maker-space Fort Houston, local rag Nashville Scene, independent theatre the Belcourt and your favorite label ever Third Man Records. Back were the rookies from last year, Duke’s, plus newcomers WXNA.
After much debate, we switched out the Hot Chicken eating contest (a truly brutal event) for an apple pie eating contest. You’ll be happy to know that Third Man CRUSHED the egg relay and was SUPER close to winning Limbo two years in a row. Special thanks to Swank for leading the team through another solid showing.
Although this year, it was Duke’s that took home the coveted trophy, which guaranteed that the ensuing afterparty at their very establishment was one for the ages.
