The Fatman's pick of the week:
"Herb Hardesty and His Band--The Domino Effect" Ace Records
This is a compilation of instrumentals recorded by Fats Dominos's legendary sax player with his own incredible band between 1958 and 1961. Most were recorded at Cosimo's Studio in New Orleans.
When the recent tornado whipped through our neighborhood, it brought this to the surface and we've been listening to it all week. Instant dance party. Well, of course, right now it's a dance party of 2 people. All Groove and Vibe, Baby.
Good to see this! He’s an old family friend and it’s good to just see this
very cool.
you got me dancing!!!
Great tune. I m usually anticipating the singer to start, but this jam’s steady groove is sweet without the vocals. Thanks for sharing

Ooooh, now this sounds like some killer stuff to accompany a swing around curvy country roads on the days when I need to escape quarantine. Many thanks!
Dang! I’ve missed that mug.
