Hold Drugs Dear
scum stats: 200 on green, seemingly fewer on splatter and even fewer (25?) as a Wax Mage edition
Nomad Eeel is worth your attention and dollars. They sent me two copies of this album so I'm giving away one here. Everyone's happy.
Write a review of the music based merely on the info here. BUT DON'T LISTEN TO THE MUSIC! Best imagination as determined by me wins a copy of the green vinyl. Post your prose here by midnight central time, October 31st, Halloween.
I will try my best, but I am concerned about the sign over your left shoulder about stopping Halloween. That sign is attacking my brain, and I cannot think clearly. Since it also says to report suspicious activity, I am hoping I am not seeing the whole message. Halloween is one of my favorite days of the year and I hope nobody wishes to halt the witching and the haunting!!! You know I am just pulling your wanker……….
I imagine the music to be on the softer side and be written about the friendships/lives lost by the millions attempting to escape life, tragedy, and poverty by using a substance that numbs them until the symptoms wear off. Some people hold manufactured drugs dear to their heart because once you start down that path towards numbness and escapism, it is very difficult to live without these crutches in your life. Sorry about the seriousness of this writing but I do have a brother who cannot even take his son fishing without sneaking off for his self-medication. I will go ahead and order my copy since I know this will not win!!!
I imagine it explores themes of addiction, relationships, and self-discovery, often with a haunting or reflective tone. The production likely complements the lyrical content, creating an immersive experience for the listener. Fans might appreciate the emotional depth and authenticity, while the artist’s style could appeal to those who enjoy a mix of indie and alternative influences. Overall, it sounds like a compelling journey worth exploring!
