Rich Ruth
Water Still Flows
scum stats: they don't tell me these things
Man this record is SOOOOOOO good. I can't hardly stand it and as per a conversation earlier today with Swank, the music is extremely difficult to describe accurately.
So I'm giving away a copy, hell, maybe two copies, of the Rich Ruth "Water Still Flows" LP to the comment here that is the best one-sentence description of something that is hard to describe. Can be a feeling, a taste, a mood, a song, whatEVER you want.
Get those comments in by midnight central time on June 27th.
The hardest thing to describe in the world is how the BeeGees, chamber pop geniuses who craft beautiful symphonies became the Beegees, disco divas.
It’s kind of fucky
It makes you feel like you’re going to puke, and cry, and don’t want it to end.
You know…..aaaah forget it.
When I listen to music, I experience a variable mixture of relaxation, exhiliration, nostalgia, joy, sorrow, tension, resolution, perplexity, disdain, and awe.
You’ll know it when you hear it.
My most trying of days. Those when I don’t even want to leave the house. Are always made better by seeing live music. The rejuvenation I experience is indescribable.
Vegetables taste like sad.
Blessing of fresh air, bountiful food and water, wonderful interactions with others, and great music (the shared language of all).
