Just want to say how excited I am for the Heatmiser record!!!
They are actually really good, but I could not get it out of my head that the message sort of sounded like Christian Punk with the message that all was innocent until they met girls who tempted them into sin :) While they were innocent and alone sitting on their Indvidual branches, they were saved but the god like beauty of the girls were more than they could handle. And then again, perhaps I saw a little of myself in these lyrics………….
Sounds and looks like the inside of my Saturday night head. All knarly grays and flash bulb haze. Can’t look away, it’s inside my brain. If I want to survive, gotta learn to leave all yesterday’s behind. Don’t get me wrong, love is strong, it’s just not always available to buy or rent, and I can’t find the heaven sent. When Sunday mornings roll around I’ll reach for my Velvet Underground.
