I mean, I don't really know shit about jazz. But I know this record makes me feel good. Seems like it traverses a wide spectrum, from traditional style in an almost formal manner, to bordering on experimental and avant garde.
It is from Finland.
I know nothing else about it. And, for now, I think I'd just like to leave it that way and not disrupt the mystery any further.
Go explore.
Hey we can post again! Listening to this now on Bandcamp, it’s very good. Ornette coleman vibe. Looks like they are numbered as well! I did not think I would be listening to Finnish Jazz when I woke up this morning… Thks!
My mind is always open to new and different ideas, but I could never enjoy Avant Garde. My brain tries to make sense of the noise and attempts to put it into some sort of order. I end up exhausting my few brain cells I have not yet destroyed and go to bed with a headache. The only thing that I could relate to was an orchestra warming up as the audience wanders in. I don’t always need a four-lane highway but having a path is always good. Sorry, this does not make me feel good, Thanks for the share.
