This simple two-sider was handed to me over the summer from dearest friend Chris Sutton (Gossip, Dirtbombs, Dub Narcotic). Chris rules and is ALWAYS doing cool shit, seemingly for a quarter century now.

"On a night when the moon looks fucking fake" is such a quintessentially unforgettable lyric that on listen two I already know that I am going to be repeating it to myself for the rest of my life. Thus "Pig Charade" is a dubby little groove that ear worms in all the right ways. The anti-authority approach is a-ok in my book as well.

"Angry" isn't as much my speed, but shit, anyone pounding the pavement and putting the effort into a 7-inch single these days (yes, I know it's a four-year-old release) gets the "A" for effort in my book. Plus, when you release a single without a picture sleeve, it's weirdly badass and brave in its nakedness. I have nothing but respect for the entirety of this record.
