The apparent drama with this release and competing pressings between Trust Fund Records and Volar Records notwithstanding, the nature of a Jay single on clear vinyl brings fond reminiscing of buying the original clear pressings of his debut Goner singles as they were released. 

Feels like two lifetimes ago. 

B-side original is preferable to the cover song on the A, but really, it’s nitpicking, just feeling grateful for two songs from this guy that I’d never hear before that still hold up all these years later.
