MADAM
Thanks For The Noise
scum stats: who knows?
Frenche femme guitar attack with glimmers of grunge elbowing with that turn of the century quasi-disco "boots-pants" kinda dance rock. Presents itself as equal parts Screaming Trees and Franz Ferdinand. Not two styles that I am aware of previously being married together so well...my appreciation is sincere and I think folks around here can get some joy out of it.
Two copies of this LP ended up in my possession, so the extra goes to someone who posts a comment. Literally, that's it. Doesn't even have to be good...though if you have something insightful to say about MrBeast, that might catch my eye more so than, I dunno, just saying "duh" or whatever.
Comments need to be posted before midnight central time July 18th. Treat it like a Texas election...submit early and often...NO LIMIT! But I will say, if you spam the shit out of it, I'll probably get annoyed and secretly blackball you.
When you say MrBeast, I sure hope you are speaking of the burger joint right down the road and not that internet gabber. I can handle a burger but cannot follow a person on the web for no reason what-so-ever. I will take you for a burger the next time I’m in Detroit if you are up to it :). I know you are in Nashville mostly but a trip to Detroit for a MrBeast hamburger is worth the road trip!!! I have to admit that I have never heard anything from Madam, but I really love this music and would very much to add this to my collection! I will not write more than once, I surely do not what to get blackballed………………
BTW, are you going to Detroit for the July 28th for the “FLEATROIT Brunch and Vintage Market indoors and outdoors with Third Man Records Rolling Record Store posted outside”? I am on the mailing list for the Detroit Foundation Hotel.
