New Order
Disorder
scum stats: limited to 250 copies, doesn't even have a database listing on Discogs, so good luck even trying to find one
Limited edition Factory Records catalog number of New Order covering Joy Division's "Disorder" live all done as a celebration of the 70th birthday of the wonderful Jon Savage. Helmed by the stupendous Johan Kugelberg, this whole package, complete with printed insert, "I sold my soul for rock and roll" coaster, pin and bound printed zine leaves me with only one thought...more people need to put out records as birthday celebrations.
This is such a great idea with the birthday celebration. Pretty cool release as well. Music never dies.
What ashame
Death claimed
Such a boy to fame
Blue hearts are what he wrote of
The music it rode on
Yes life can tear you apart
And I listened
What else was I to do
Moving on to a blue Monday
Sad but happy to have the tunes
Reflections from a mirror
From me to you
Great find!! Speaking of Discogs, I have almost 42000 pieces in my collection and have about 1200 ’45s that are not yet in the Discogs catalog. I have shelves of 78s as well. I need to get busy and get them in there. It takes a lot of time to do the research, take the pictures and sit down at the computer to add a new submission into the database. As always. thanks for sharing and broadening my “got to find that” wish list!!!
