Ugh, two thumbs down. Was intrigued because I couldn’t find too much info about this one online and bit the bullet for a (in hindsight) too expensive copy. BUYER BEWARE. It’s schlocky new wave. Worth it in a dollar bin, unworthy of your time otherwise.
Also, it’s a half-day on a holiday weekend…so I wanted to make this one quick.

haha! i found quite a bit of it on youtube and holy smokes it’s awful. is it terrible that i almost enjoy its awfulness? it’s thiiiiiiiiiis close to being good entertainment (intentionally or otherwise). wish i’d had a copy when choreographing for campy kid recitals. maybe some day i’ll do it again. thanks for sharing the whammos, too, ben!

at least it’s Robert Zimmerman’s Birthday, so at least there’s that. ‘Blonde on Blonde’ playing now, moving on to ‘Self Portrait’ next. enjoy the long weekend everyone!
