"The Blackout" marks the first physical release from U2's eagerly awaited new album, SONGS OF EXPERIENCE, due later this year. The 12" includes both the original album version backed by an exclusive remix by the band's longtime collaborator, Jacknife Lee. Hailed by Rolling Stone as "a dynamic new track," "The Blackout" was revealed this summer via a surprise live video, filmed during U2's blockbuster Joshua Tree Tour 2017.

Third Man co-founder Ben Blackwell said, "The sound quality of this incredibly special record is a perfect example of the caliber of product Third Man Pressing is capable of producing. We couldn't be more proud." TMR's "The Blackout" 12" will be extremely limited, with just one single pressing at Third Man Pressing, the label's state-of-the-art vinyl production facility in Detroit. Oh, I’m a great U2 fan from Poland (btw, some of us from net/forum community were mentioned in U2 by U2) and the one and only with double (!) autograph from Bono and Gavin Friday.
It’s a great sadness to read there will be limited availability of coloured vinyls to fans outside USA (Detroit/Nashville) or UK & Ireland. I wish fans worldwide could grab a few of them somehow. :)

knoxvle

hopefully they put some on the tmr vault for us outside of the country

This is interesting. I’ve been wondering how long it would be before TMR did something with U2.

Very very nice . It’s a pity that a U2 fan in the Netherlands can’t purchase the colored vinyl. Is there a nice person in Nashville or Detroit that wants to get me a copy and send it to the Netherlands. It would make me very happy. Of cause I pay you for it Thanks, Sven.
