Legit grooves and vocal melodies, this record was on high rotation for me this year.

“Rome, New York” - Greg Freeman
Greg Freeman is such a poet. His lyrics are so clever and he has such a unique voice. “Rome, New York” is his catchiest work. I highly recommend listening to this while walking through a city at night.
“Love Is” - Dove Ellis
“Throw Yourself to the Sword” - Die Spitz
I’m a little biased because I worked on this release, but Die Spitz put out the album of the year in my opinion. The track “Throw Yourself to the Sword” is so heavy and powerful, I get chills every time I listen. Ellie has started knighting people with her sword (used in the music video) while playing the song live on tour, which is a nice added touch. We love female rage!
